Birthday present ideas for my mum, please read description?
my mum is like that .. she says she wants a particular dvd or cd but never uses it .. sooo annoying!

a nice expensive makeup set

a few %26#039;mum%26#039; things like me to you bears .. nearly everyone likes getting them as they are cute and say cute things like best mum etc ( a nice lil keepsake )

a voucher for an experience like a makeover photoshoot experience ... session at a spa etc

also you could get a really nice picture of you and her ( if you have 1 ) or of people that are special to her .. and get it enlarged and made into a canvase ( that you can put onto the wall ) you can get them done at photo places ( where you get your pics devloped )!

hope iv helped abit =]
Reply:How about some dried or silk flowers instead?
Reply:yes...a lovely luxury pedicure...get her feet pampered, massaged %26amp; toenails painted...that%26#039;s a lovely prezzie!!
Reply:Out for a meal and then on to a show.

Out for a day at a big shopping centre - have lunch there too and book yourselves in for a soothing foot massage at the end!

Day at a Spa.
Reply:Does she like gardening? It was my mums birthday last week, I got her two Rose Trees.
Reply:If you cannot take her with you for the weekend, then why not present her with a travel tickets for a weekend away together in the next few weeks, a girlie weekend and a show.

MOTHERS!!! what would we do without them?
Reply:manicure, pedicure, hair done..
Reply:What about tickets to go to the theatre or see her favourite band, something like that.
Reply:How about something personalized like from CafePress.com or something funny that would make her laugh?

Is she into Alternative therapies? There are loads to try. A spa day is good if you can afford it or what about something daft and unique like the newspaper of her birthdate or naming a star or somethinga long them lines?
Reply:Maybe a bath sytle gift set or a big box of choc
Reply:why don%26#039;t you get her a voucher for a beauticians so she can have a manicure/massage or treatment of her choice, or take her to a health spa or something?
Reply:Why don%26#039;t you get her tickets to see a show or something, my mum%26#039;s the same so that%26#039;s what I did and she was well chuffed!
Reply:For my mum%26#039;s birthday last year, I organised for all us kids and our kids to have a photo done at the photographer. We split the cost between us and got her a big framed photo. She loves it and it%26#039;s up on her sitting room wall. Duno what I%26#039;m gona do for this year though!
Reply:Here%26#039;s a list - hope u%26#039;ll find it useful

1. A nice silver family photo frame - for her to keep at work if she works

2. A trendy bag

3. Or set up a romantic dinner for your mum %26amp; dad - candle light n all - contact the hotel people - and ask them to arrange for one

4. get her some feng shui stuff ( if you believe in it) they make for very good presents - dunno if its available where you stay or not.

5. or some imitation or silver jewellery if she likes

6. Aromatherapy package - scented candles, lotions, dried flowers and all :)

thats it for now...will think and add mroe later
Reply:Garden centre vouchers so she can chose what plants she wants?

Day at a spa treatment?

Manicure, pedicure, eyebrow wax?

Nice body lotion and handcream?
Reply:Go down to the sun bed shop and book her 6 sessions. Sometimes they give you 7 for the price of 6. I did this for my mum and they lasted her for 3 months, she loved it.
Reply:If you have children go to the river or somewhere that has big rocks. Something that you can carry. Buy some puff paints and have your children put there hand prints on it. Then write happy birthday and the year. You can even do that yourself. If that ideal isn%26#039;t good, try making a stepping stone and either make hands on it or even you feet. I have those and i put it in my garden next to my kitchen window and I see that everyday. I love it
Reply:If she likes to buy he own stuff, then you may try giving her a gift card in a department store she loves to visit !
Reply:Get her e facial%26amp;massage at the hotel yout staying at while your away.

Or just get her a voucher(to buy her own clothes)
Reply:Hello Clare 89!!!

i have used this once before. While you are away, or before you go take mum to a good photogrpher, have some shots taken of you, mum, and both together. Pick the best, of the two of you,

and have it framed in areally good frame. Make sure the frame you pick will go well with mums` decor.

Like flowers that present will never die.

Do you like the idea?
Reply:Flowers are always good, I recommend proflowers.com, they%26#039;ve never let me down.

I got my mom a hammock for Xmas this year, she won%26#039;t stop talking about it. Overstock.com helped me with a lot of my shopping, you can search based on who you%26#039;re buying for and their interests.
