I have a very good friend whose birthday is coming up. He has moved away to another country and he does not want me to mail any birthday present as he does not want me to spend alot of money. He wants only a birthday card! He has been a very good friend so I really want to do something for his birthday. But being so far away from him and not allowed to send him anything but a card, what else can I do ?
On my birthday he sent flowers and stuff.
He will turn 34 next month.

One thing you could do is check with the area where he moved for stores online where you could pick out a gift and have them mail it for very little cost. You could also find out if they have a nice restaurant nearby and order dinner delivered to his apartment/house. There are lots of companies who have oversees/foreign affiliates that wouldn%26#039;t cost you a fortune to send a present. Good luck and God Bless.
Also, you could see if they have a day spa in the area and arrange for a essential oil/aromatherapy massage.
